Carolina Road

Active since 2001, Carolina Road have become one of the most beloved bands in modern bluegrass. With over two decades of hard work and an average of 100 performances each year, the North Carolina-based ensemble has earned their place. 

Carolina Road has eleven albums together, the majority of which are lead by longtime member, lead vocalist and mandolinist Lorraine Jordan. The band’s second album, The Road That Took You There, was released by CMH in 2004. On it, the ensemble plays through ten originals and two classics, highlighting their members’ expert musicianship and talents for writing tunes. They have hosted the Canadian Bluegrass Awards, headlined the National Bluegrass Festival and Christmas in the Smokies, toured Europe and played 15 bluegrass cruises.

Carolina Road & Lorraine Jordan continue to perform and record today, playing major festivals and headlining concerts across the U.S.
