The Essential Osborne Brothers Collection features classic bluegrass from the legendary Osborne Brothers who have hand-picked the 20 selections from the CMH vaults for this release. Sonny, innovator on the five and six-string banjo, and Bobby, who's applied his distinctive jazzy style to the Bill Monroe mandolin sound, serve up a wide array of bluegrass standards, Osborne originals, country classics, fiery instrumentals along with four songs written by the Country Music Hall of Fame members Boudleaux and Felice Bryant.
